Metropolitan Protective Services employs security officers that are specially trained and experienced in providing a fire watch. They will be provided with fire watch logs that are required by the fire marshal for the security of a property. It is imperative that experienced officers are employed for a fire watch, because inexperienced employees might not recognize signs of a fire or a gas leak. Inexperienced people will put their own security, the security of employees and the security of the property at risk and create a huge liability for their employer and the client. Therefore, Metropolitan Protective Services recommends not simply calling different companies and choosing the company that offers the lowest price, but the company with the most expertise.
